W SERIES (Tungsten)

W… on the periodic table of elements this letter indicates one of the most resistant and heavy materials in the world, in fact if compared to lead, in addition to having a resistance that makes it practically impossible to deform, it has a specific weight almost twice that of lead itself.
The advantages of this material?
We are able to have very small jigs but with extremely high weights… for example, if we had a 30g lead jig and we decided to replicate the same shape in tungsten, that same jig would weigh around 50g.
These jigs, so small but of very high weight, guarantee us incomparable casting distances and extremely rapid sinking, an absolutely impeccable workability on the rod given that in the water they create very little friction thanks to their compact shape, we could fish with them for entire days without ever feeling the need to stop.
They find their maximum use in moments when predators are eating very small forage and at long distances, in fact if we used lead jigs we would probably reach the feeding grounds with jigs that were too bulky and we would not trigger any attacks, this is a situation that happens a lot in fishing, seeing predators in the distance but not being able to make them attack because they are hunting small sardines, a situation where the w series absolutely makes the difference!
